NEW FRANCHISE AWARDED
 
BHL president Steven Murray annouced that a new franchise has been awarded. The team will be called the Get Er Done Rednecks. All other details remain confidental as negotiatons are incomplete.

Hennessy Committed To Irish
 
According to sources, the Vice City Vipers have pulled out on their offer with Nick Hennessy after learning that Hennessy is committed to signing with the Kick Ass Irish. Hennessy has not played ice hockey for the last year and a half but when playing pickup hockey he prevailed as a strong player. He will be a worthy addition to the Kick Ass Irish as a strong vetern and will play winger to rookie, Jonathan Doyle.

Jeffery, Stewart, Sign Deals
 
The Kick Ass Irish finished up contract negotiations by signing enforcer defenceman Robert Jeffery and rookie goaltender Issac Stewart. Stewart posted a GGA  of 8.43 and a impressive .763 save percentage in a preseason pick up game.

Irish To Ink Deal With Doyle

May 8, 2006 - The Kick Ass Irish are believed to be signing BHL prospect Jonathan Doyle. Doyle played with the Pownal Bantam AAA last winter. Captain Tyler Harris believe that Jonathan will be an extremely valuable asset to the team and has the ability to take them all the way. The team hopes that Doyle will join them at the home opener. 

Murray Annouces New League
 

May 4, 2006 - BHL president, Steven Murray announced the creation of the league known as the Basement Hockey League. The league will feature competitive street hockey action between four new franchises. The four franchises are the Horny Hippos led by captain Ian Murray. The Bar Room Brawlers led by Steven Murray. The Vice City Vipers Led by Geordie "Pulled My Groin" Carragher and the Kick Ass Irish led by captain Tyler Harris.
